AUDIO BOOK REVIEW
Peace Like A River by Leif Enger I just finished listening to this book and it was beautiful. Putting personal beliefs aside, this book was engaging, sensitive, and dramatic. I have rarely read such beautiful prose. The author's grasp of language is gorgeous, very wax poetic. This book constantly reminds you of it's Christian overtones, but not in a way that would make one angry or bored if one did not hold the same beliefs. I imagine it would be comforting and reaffirming for someone who did. Either way it is well worth the read.

halved this for me and my husband and it fed us for DAYS! INGREDIENTS • 2 tablespoons
extra-virgin olive oil • 1 large red onion,
peeled and chopped • 1 red pepper,
cleaned, cored and chopped • 1 green pepper,
cleaned, cored and chopped • 1 yellow pepper,
cleaned, cored and chopped • 2 pounds lean ground
turkey • 2 tablespoons of
your favorite dark chili powder • 1/2 cup dark brown
sugar • 2 28-ounce cans
chopped tomatoes • 1 16-oz can of white
beans, drained and rinsed • 1 16-oz can of black
beans, drained and rinsed • 1 16-oz can of dark
red kidney beans, drained and rinsed • 1 16-oz can of chili
